This prestigious competition is the highlight of the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) in Singapore, the largest and longest-running dive show in Asia. Held from April 10 to 12, 2026, ADEX Big Blue Legacy will be a spectacle of underwater wonders, with a live judging event where a prestigious jury will choose the winners and runners-up in various categories, as well as the ADEX Photographer of the Year 2026. So, are you ready to dive into the competition and make a splash?
The competition invites photographers, filmmakers, and artists to submit their best work in the following categories: Animal Behavior, Blackwater, Conservation, Smartphone, Ocean Planet (Drone/Over-Under Photography), Underwater Arts (Underwater Model Photography/Artworks), Short Film, and Portfolio. The prizes are jaw-dropping, including a SEACAM housing worth up to $10,000, a fabulous resort stay with Atmosphere Resorts & Spa, and underwater imaging gear from Marelux and SEA&SEA! And that's not all - more awesome prizes are being added all the time!
But here's where it gets controversial: the entry fee is US$10 for a single image or video and US$30 for a portfolio (six images). As with all Underwater Competition Series events, 15% of entry proceeds will be donated to marine conservation efforts. So, while you're entering, you're also contributing to a good cause!
