As it stands today, the Texas Rangers have already secured four positions in their Opening Day pitching rotation. Those slots are occupied by ace Jacob deGrom, Nathan Eovaldi, MacKenzie Gore, and promising young talent Jack Leiter.
However, the fifth spot remains uncertain. The Rangers are certainly optimistic about Cody Bradford's recovery and anticipate that he will be fit to join the rotation sometime in May. Yet, even under the best circumstances—where Bradford returns to form quickly and all other pitchers maintain their health throughout spring training—there will still be a need for someone to take on the role of the fifth starter during the interim period.
This brings us to today's question in our Rangers Reacts Survey: Who do you believe should claim the fifth starter position for the Texas Rangers?
